Development Officer and Friends Manager – The MacDowell Colony

Restructured and rebranded donor program. Implemented new strategies inclusive of young donors. Managed 24 cultivation/major events per annum. Improved annual giving by 25%, won 25% new members, and upgraded 20% in 2017 (40% in 2016). Secured corporate and local support. Coordinated special initiatives with partners such as First Republic, JP Morgan, Amazon, Roundabout Theatre, and Curator Gallery, along with a national strategy, capital campaigns.

Freelance Projects
01/07 – Present, International

Ran various fundraisers, international tours, and events for up to 10k attendees. Clients include Festival Republic, hyperallergic, Northside Festival.

Led two pan-London LGBT festivals. Highlight: T-Mobile’s Big Dance 30k-person flash-mob in Trafalgar Square. Secured government funding, headline sponsors, in-kind/pro-bono donations

Managed on-site, technical, travel, visa, media, and logistical needs for large scale events such as promenade theatre and outdoor international festivals for Spitalfields Music and Royal Opera House.

Used my entrepreneurial spirit to engage the Mayor of London to open and run an independent LGBTQ center for tourists and locals alike. Secure international coverage.

Interior decoration for private clients in NYC and London – Budgets averaged $20-50k.

Development Assistant – The American Associates of the National Theatre
12/11 – 12/12, New York City, USA

Coordinated galas and cultivation events. Managed all daily fundraising operations, an office move, and digital. Primary contact for Board, Corporate Advisors and Event Council. Helped establish $4m capital campaign. Managed all bookkeeping and audited successfully twice.

Events and Media Manager – Fourth Arts Block
02/11 – 11/11, New York City, USA

Produced series of seasonal events and initiatives with 26 local organizations and BIDs. Contracted new sponsors including Superdry, ZipCar and Yelp. Added features to nycgo.com, TimeOut, EVRadio, NYTimes. Doubled engagement on house blogs and social media.
